Brochettes de tofu sur le BBQ

Il faut l’avouer, le tofu doit être bien apprêté pour être savoureux. Elisabelle, notre nutritionniste webmestre, a récemment testé une recette de Trois fois par jour que voici:

Ingrédients

– Un bloc de 454 g de tofu ferme/extra-ferme
– 1 oignon rouge
– 1 grosse courgette (zucchini)

– 1 c. soupe (15 ml) d’huile d’olive
– Le jus de 1 orange
– 1 c. soupe de sauce BBQ
– 1 c. soupe de sauce soya ou tamari
– 1 gousse d’ail finement hachée
– 1 c. soupe d’origan séché
– 2 c. soupe de miel/sirop d’érable

1. Trancher le tofu en carrés de façon à ce que le côté soit d’environ 1/2 po maximum. Si vous le coupez en cubes, la marinade ne se rendra pas au centre et le tofu sera moins goûteux.

2. Mélanger les ingrédients de la marinade et verser sur les morceaux de tofu. Laisser mariner au moins 4h dans un sac ou un contenant, préférablement toute la nuit pour encore plus de saveur.

3. Assembler les brochettes en alternant oignon, tofu et courgette.

4. Faire griller sur le BBQ en prenant soin de rajouter de la marinade pendant la cuisson. Retourner les brochettes quelques fois pour que tous les côtés soient grillés, en les laissant cuire environ 5 minutes chaque côté.

Suggestion: servir avec des rondelles de patate douce rôties au BBQ ainsi que des asperges du Québec!
